Hotel Ascot - Florence

I recently had a fantastic stay at a hotel in Florence. the value for money was excellent, with reasonable prices for such a central location, just across the street from the train station. The staff were also very attentive, going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The basic amenities in the room were in good condition, and the air conditioning was a lifesaver during the hot weather. Additionally, breakfast was included in the rates, which was a great way to start the day.

All in all, my experience at this hotel was fantastic.

The location of this hotel was super convenient, situated just a stone's throw away from the railway station and within walking distance to most major attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering great recommendations for local restaurants. The breakfast spread was impressive, providing a good start to our day of sightseeing.

The room felt cramped and outdated, lacking the basic amenities of a modern hotel. The bathroom was especially disappointing, with no space to move around and a weak shower.

we visited such places as uffizi gallery that were not far from the hotel. free wifi worked well. would definitely recommend this property.

I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. The location, just across the street from the train station, was incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service, going out of their way to help guests. The rooms were in good condition and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and effective air conditioning. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail, such as the small box in the wardrobe for storing valuables. Breakfast was included in the rates and offered a decent selection of options to start the day.

I found the staff very friendly and helpful. The room was basic but clean and adequate. The location near the centre of Florence and transport links was excellent.

I found the breakfast rather boring with limited choice. The coffee was very disappointing and the din ing room was very gloomy.

Spent Xmas vacation in a hotel and it was cozy. the room was very clean and well-maintained, with a comfortable bed and fresh linens. the staff was very friendly, offering great service. the breakfast was delicious, with freshly baked pastries, succulent bacon, jam, and eggs. the location was perfect, within walking distance to all the major sights and restaurants.

The bathroom was a bit small and cramped, though functional. the walls were thin, so it was a bit noisy at night.

There was hot water and air conditioner.

There was no shampoo nor soap. And no Capuchino!

The room was exactly as detailed in the website and the front office staff was very helpful and could speak English well. Room had all the amenities needed for a night out for us, as we just wanted the room to sleep and keep our baggage during our day tour in Florence. Clean room & spacious toilets add to the value. I recommend this to any traveler on city tour looking for a place conveniently located to the train station and value for money.

It would have been nice if they had tea/coffee making facility in the room, and a bit more variety for breakfast which was included in the room rate.

The hotel was situated in a convenient location, just across the street from the train station. This made it incredibly easy for us to explore the city and access other areas of interest. Additionally, the staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout our stay. They were attentive to our needs and always went the extra mile to ensure our comfort. The rooms were well-maintained and had good air conditioning, which was a relief after a long day of exploring. We were also pleased to find that breakfast was included in the rates. It was a great way to start our day with a variety of options to choose from.

Our stay at this hotel was wonderful and we couldn't find anything that could be improved.

Air conditioning noisy and a bathroom improvised

We loved the location of this hotel as it was very close to the train station, making it convenient for us to explore the city. The hotel was also near many touristic places and there were plenty of food stores and a manual laundry store nearby. The staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was clean with all the basic facilities we needed. The breakfast provided was also good, and there was even a pizzeria and gelateria right in front of the hotel.

There was nothing we didn't like.
